Artherapy St. Louis Area Studio / FAQ

It's has been over 6 years since we first opened our doors!! What a blast it has been! We went mobile almost 5 years ago. We now bring the party to you. This has been one of the best decision we have made. Our clients love it. Do you want to play games or try your luck at the gambling tables before or after you paint your masterpiece? Or you can still bring you own food and drink and party at the local community center or park. So many choices, how will you choose? We will help you! Give us a call and we make sure your party or event is unique to you!

We are a family owned and operated studio. Looking for a fun night where the atmosphere is more laid back and fun? Come play with us! We provide art classes of different types for different ages. Amy Shaw

I'm originally from West Texas and went to college in Phoenix Arizona where I had a full scholarship in Fine Art and when I realized they called them starving artists for a reason. So, I switched and graduated with a degree in Interior Design later specializing in Kitchen and Bath Design building my career in that industry for almost 30 years with doing Event Planning on the side. I have been blessed with the opportunity to start my own business where I am able to embrace my original passion for art and still use the skills I developed in my professional career. I love all things creative and to travel. Seeing new places, learning about different cultures and trying new things are just a few of my favorite things.

                  

Kathy is originally from Ava, Missouri after college she made her home raising her children in St. Louis many years ago (I am now married to one of her sons). She has always been interested in crafts and sewing (you should see her creations, they are awe inspiring) Since opening up our studio, she has discovered she is a very talented artist. Kathy adds fun and tells all sorts of jokes to our classes. We are very lucky to have her.
